Many people think that holidays at home are boring. For example, all my friends prefer to go away somewhere for a holiday or holiday, to another city or country. However, I believe that holidays at home do not have to be boring. What is more, they can be just as interesting as going abroad.

Firstly, holidays at home are definitely cheaper than holidays abroad or in another city. We do not have to pay for accommodation or transport. Of course, we buy food, but after all, we eat all year round. A holiday at home is a good opportunity to save money.

Secondly, when we spend our holidays at home, we can do things that we usually don't have time for. When we work or go to school or university, we can't always go to yoga or a language course, for example. So a holiday at home is a great opportunity to do something for yourself.

Thirdly, sometimes it is worth giving up travelling far away and getting to know your local area. Do we really know all the parks in our city? Do we know who built the Town Hall or how old the colourful tenement house in the Market Square is? A holiday at home is the perfect opportunity to get to know your city better.

In conclusion, holidays at home definitely don't have to be boring. Sometimes it's good to stay at home and thus have more money, more time and learn something about your neighbourhood and your city.
